Group Surfing Lessons

Beginner group surfing lessons with our Carolina Surf School are a great introduction to the sport of surfing. If you have always wanted to give surfing a try and experience the ocean in a new way, our group surfing lessons are for you. Perfect for vacationers, our popular learn-to-surf clinic will get you stoked while keeping you safe. Learn about positioning, paddling, safety, etiquette, and how to stand up and fall properly. Bring your friends and family to watch, laugh, and take pictures of your memorable adventure.

Our group lessons are taught every day at Wrightsville Beach during the summer. Our time-tested and proven instructional methodology offers a step-by-step approach to your safety and skill development. If your vacation dates are set, reserve your lessons now as spots are limited. You can register by yourself as we put together the group.

Public Group Surfing Lesson 3:1 Ratio

• Ages 10 to adult
• 3:1 student to instructor ratio
• Price $85 per person for a 90 minute lesson
• Public groups have a maximum of 6 participants
• Includes all equipment
• Held daily on Wrightsville Beach Monday – Friday  at 10:30 – Noon
• Same-day registration is available (if the group maximum has not been reached)

Private Group Surfing Lesson 3:1 Ratio

• Ages 10 to adult
• 3:1 student to instructor ratio
• Price $85 per person for a 120 minute lesson
• Minimum 3 people to form your group
• Includes all equipment (except wetsuit)
• Available on Wrightsville Beach & Figure Eight Island
• Our instructors will come to your rental cottage and provide your private group lessons!

Private Lesson for 2

• Ages 10 to adult
• 2:1 student to instructor ratio
• Price $105 per person for a 120-minute lesson
• Includes all equipment
