Margaret Kruger

Margaret was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her childhood was filled with family, volleyball, and travel. She first learned her love for the ocean as a camper at WB Teen Overnight and has been exploring the ocean and surfing ever since. This passion has led her to explore scuba diving and wakeboarding. Margaret finds peace and joy in the waves, which has inspired her to share this love with others by being a surf instructor. When she’s not in the ocean, you can catch her on the slopes snowboarding or traveling the world.

She loves hanging out with her friends, spending time in the ocean, and traveling. Some of her favorite memories from this last year are traveling along the coast of Australia and Bali, scuba diving with manta rays along the Great Barrier Reef, and working in coral restoration and rainforest conservation. Margaret’s excited to be back at WB Surf Camp for her second year as Teen Overnight surf instructor. She can’t wait to help teach new surfers to love both the ocean and the sport while having an unforgettable summer.
