Keith Peterson

Keith Petersen was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. He began working with children in high school, as an assistant counselor at a local theater’s day camp. Following suit, he graduated in 2023 from East Carolina University with degrees in Musical Theatre and English, with an emphasis on environmental literature.

Growing up, Keith had always had a fascination with wildlife, and he used to catalogue the different animals he came across in his back yard. He was constantly in the water as a kid: swimming, kayaking, diving etc. This love of the outdoors was fully realized when he began working at Windsor Mountain summer camp in New Hampshire, which became his home away from home every summer through his college career.

Since graduating, Keith had been working full-time as an actor, taking parts all along the east coast. In fact, you can find him this summer performing in the repertory season at Opera House Theatre Company. Between contracts, he is a tutor for pupils of all ages, working to instill his love of learning into the next generation.
