Dana Kirwin

Dana is from New England and spent most of her summer breaks in Newport, RI playing in the waves and finding creatures in the tide pools along the Ocean Drive. When she wasn’t in RI, she was attending summer camp in New Hampshire or Maine. It was through these experiences she discovered her deep love for the ocean and the positive impact summer camp can have on confidence building, friendship skills, and comfort zone expansion.

 

Dana moved to Wilmington from California in 2024 after spending a few years with an outdoor education and summer camp program focused on ocean conservation and sustainability. She is excited to be back on the East Coast and working with the Sea Turtle Camp team to create memorable summers for campers that inspire curiosity and lifelong interest in marine biology and ocean conservation.
