Benton Tucker

Benton grew up in Wilmington, NC, spending his time surfing, skating, playing soccer, and golfing. He began surfing at the age of 3 and has not stopped since. Benton’s favorite memory from surfing at a young age is learning how to surf with his dad.

With 16-plus years of surfing experience under his belt, Benton is very familiar with our local beach breaks, including Wrightsville, Figure Eight, and Topsail. He has also traveled to various destinations to catch some of the best surf in the world, such as Nosara,Costa Rica; Santa Teresa, Costa Rica; Witch’s Rock; San Clemente, California; Carlsbad, California.

Currently, Benton is a sophomore at North Carolina State University studying Business Administration with a concentration in analytics. Outside of the classroom, you can see Benton playing on various intramural sports teams and golfing with his friends.

This is Benton’s first summer with WB Surf Camp! Benton is excited to share his love for surfing with both children and adults. He looks forward to creating unforgettable experiences in the water in hopes of sparking a love for surfing in others around him.
