Bella Curtin

Bella Curtin learned to surf in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where she spent seven summers working as a surf camp instructor. It was there that her love for the ocean began, along with a deep appreciation for ocean safety and conservation. She is fascinated by marine ecosystems, coral reefs, and rip currents, and is passionate about sharing that knowledge with others. In her free time, Bella loves to spend time outdoors. Whether it’s surfing, running, bodysurfing, or paddleboarding, anything involving physical activity and the outdoors is right up her alley.

 

Bella moved to Wilmington to pursue a degree in Clinical Research at UNCW while continuing her passion for teaching others how to surf and appreciate the ocean. Bella hopes to inspire students not only to enjoy the ocean but also to know how to respect and protect it.
