Guppy/Grom Marine Educator/Camp Counselor

Anna Poling

Anna is currently a Senior at UNCW, graduating in May with a bachelor’s degree in marine biology and a minor in sustainability. She has a true love for conservation and education and would like to continue on this career path in the future. She has experience working as a camp counselor in previous years at the Ohio Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, as well as experience interning with the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center! In her free time, Anna loves to go to the beach with her friends, swim at the rec center, listen to music, go to concerts, and do anything crafty! She especially loves to crochet.

This is Anna’s first summer with WB Surf Camp, and she couldn’t be more excited! She is working as a Marine Educator for the Guppy/Grom kids, and she can’t wait to teach them all about the ocean and its creatures! She hopes to instill passion for caring about the environment and wildlife in all the campers and can’t wait to see everyone there!
