Carson Goatcher
Carson grew up intrigued with the natural world in between Raleigh, NC, and Carolina Beach, NC. He always found his fixes in being outside and keeping his body moving through things like fishing, surfing, grappling, and looking for snakes. As a kid, Carson was taught to surf by two of his older friends and ended up attending this WB Surf Camp later in his adolescent life.Ā

Currently, Carson is pursuing a degree in Environmental Science at UNCW. He spends his time doing many of the same things, like competing in grappling tournaments and training, searching for animals to record, and of course, surfing. Carson hopes to not only inspire the next generation of groms in this camp, but to highlight the uniqueness and importance of North Carolinaās incredible coastal regions and environmental diversity.
