Program Coordinator- Jessica Dunn
We are stoked to announce our newest Program Coordinator for WB Surf Camp- Jessica Dunn. Jess has been working in the field for WB Surf Camp the last two years, this past summer leading our Guppy Camp as the Director. Whether she claims to have grown up in Chesterfield, Virginia or on the coasts of Hatteras Island- she has been living “the salt life” since day one.
Jessica has a degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in Psychology, as well as a minor in Sociology. She is not only a steward to our environment but to our community as well. Jessica volunteers her time as a reading tutor to inner-city children, has worked with the Child Life Program at the VCU Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, and conducted research on food insecurity and ways to reduce food deserts in our nation. She is passionate about making a difference in the lives of other people.
When Jessica is not in the office, she is usually getting lost outside surfing, crabbing, fishing, collecting sea glass, digging volleyballs off the court, or laying around in her hammock with a good book. Jessica will be coordinating our Teen Overnight Camps as well as her original roots with Guppy Camp. Her positive energy, outgoing personality, and passion to make a positive influence in the lives of others makes her an awesome asset to our team!
