Paige McNamee

Paige grew up just south of Detroit, Michigan, where she developed a deep love for the outdoors. She is a sophomore at Coastal Carolina University, where she is studying Marine Science with a minor in Geographic Information Systems. At school, she is involved with the SCUBA club and sustainability initiatives through her work with Sustain Coastal.

 

Last summer, she had the amazing opportunity to be a marine conservation intern in Utila, Honduras, where she was able to further explore her interest in the marine environment. There, she participated in lionfish removal dives, dissections, coral nursery cleans, and so much more.

 

She loves being in the water and one of her favorite marine animals are nudibranchs. Paige is extremely excited to be a part of Sea Turtle Camp this summer, and hopes to share her passion and inspire campers to love the ocean just as much.
