Meghan Cronin

Meghan grew up between the Severn and Magothy Rivers just outside of Annapolis, Maryland where she spent her time kayaking, fishing, boating and exploring the islands in the Chesapeake Bay. Inspired by her own experiences at an outdoor education center and passion to preserve the nature around her, she attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington where she earned her Master’s degree in Chemistry with a focus on environmental chemistry. During her time in graduate school, she studied the movement of toxic metals within the Cape Fear River Basin while teaching the university’s environmental chemistry lab course. After she graduated, Meghan spent two years working at a local Wilmington lab analyzing water and sediment samples for the EPA, DOE and DOD.

In her free time, you can find Meghan reading on the beach, camping, or off roading her and her husband’s ’97 Grand Cherokee. She is excited to be part of the WB Surf Camp this summer and looks forward to meeting you!
