WB Teen Overnight Counselor
Lana Llyoyd
Born in La Jolla, California, Lana Lloyd spent her childhood between Southern California’s coastline and the desert landscapes of Las Vegas. Her summers were shaped by early mornings with Los Angeles County Junior Lifeguards, where she competed in open-water swimming, running, and paddleboarding—and where she fell in love with the ocean. Surfing has always been a part of her life, and she has chased waves in Southern California, Hawaii, Mexico, Barbados, and even the chilly breaks of Ireland. She’s been skiing since the age of three and competed competitively in giant slalom. Just last summer, she completed a 3,316-mile transatlantic sailing crossing from the British Virgin Islands to Málaga, Spain.
Now heading into her junior year at The University of Alabama, Lana is studying marketing and art. She loves traveling, trying new things, and finding that perfect mix of challenge and fun that comes with outdoor adventure. This will be Lana’s first summer with WB Surf Camp, and she couldn’t be more stoked. She’s excited to meet campers, share her ocean experience, and help create the kind of unforgettable moments that only happen out on the water.
