Brooklyn Sparks

Brooklyn grew up in Michigan, where she spent years as a competitive gymnast and cheerleader—experiences that helped shape her energy, teamwork mindset, and positive leadership style. She also grew up frequently visiting North and South Carolina with her family, and she spent her summers on the lakes in Michigan, building a lifelong love for the outdoors and time on the water.

She attended Wayne State University and earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services, creating a strong foundation in youth development and people-centered support. Over the past year and a half, Brooklyn lived on the North Shore of Oʻahu, where she loved spending time in and around the ocean—especially freediving, snorkeling, and embracing island life whenever she could. When she’s not at camp, she’s happiest outdoors or hanging out with her dog, Koda.

With nearly 12 years of experience in the camp industry, Brooklyn brings deep knowledge, enthusiasm, and a steady, caring presence to every program. She’s passionate about creating a fun, safe environment where campers feel confident, included, and excited to try new things.
