WB Teen Overnight Surf Instructor/Counselor

Gage Labonne

Born in Las Vegas, Gage grew up skating and playing soccer. Just after his 7th birthday, he moved to North Carolina, where he quickly discovered a new passion—the ocean. Shortly after settling in, Gage met his now-best friend, and it was his friend’s dad who introduced him to surfing. From that moment on, he was hooked.

Now with eight years of surfing experience under his belt, Gage continues to chase waves and deepen his love for the sport. A high school senior graduating this year, he’s looking ahead to earning his pilot’s license and possibly heading to college. His dream? To travel the world, surf new breaks, and soak in everything life has to offer.

When he’s not on his board, you can find Gage playing guitar, hanging out with friends and family, or catching live music at concerts.

This is Gage’s first summer with WB Surf Camp, and he couldn’t be more stoked. He’s ready to share his knowledge, passion, and the pure joy that surfing brings. Whether it’s your first time on a board or you’re looking to level up your skills, Gage is excited to help create a life-changing experience out on the water.
