The Best Job in the World – Spread the Stoke!

It’s the time of year where we are looking for the best possible team to work for us this summer inspiring campers of all ages in and out of the water!  We can confidently say that you’ve never had a job quite like this one, where your office is the beach, your work uniform is board shorts and flip flops, and your clients are people from all around the world who are eager to start, or continue, their surfing journey.  If you are a surfer, an environmentalist, an aspiring marine biologist, and/or want to spread the stoke of surfing and your passion for the ocean all summer long, then we want to hear from you!

We have seasonal positions of all types between WB Surf Camp and our sister company, Sea Turtle Camp, from field staff positions such as Surf Instructor, Camp Counselor, and Marine Educator, to support staff positions such as Site Director, Surf School Coordinator, Activities Coordinator, and of course one of the most important roles of the summer, Kitchen Staff!  Anyone interested in one of our available positions should visit our website’s employment page and fill out a brief application form.  We encourage you to read the job description of the position you are interested in BEFORE filling out the application to make sure the role will be a good fit for you.  We are looking for individuals who are ready to commit to our team for the duration of the summer season, which does mean that those who have trips, vacations, or school commitments from May to August may be limited in what positions they’d be considered for.

WB Surf Camp has been a dream job for so many different people from all over the world.  Some of these people, like myself, find so much joy in this line of work that they return year after year to reconnect with coworkers from previous seasons, and to make new friends with other like-minded ocean lovers!  I (Chase, Prog. Coord.) began my time with WB Surf Camp in 2016 as a Private Lesson Surf & SUP Instructor, and that first summer changed the course of my career and my life.  Watching our students catch their first waves renewed my passion for surfing, and using that passion I was able to rise through the ranks of WB Surf Camp until I was hired into a full-time admin position.  Not only have I found a career at WB Surf Camp, but I’ve also made strong connections with the local surf community, and have gained several new friendships with other watermen, conservationists, and just good people in general.
