Gorkin (as he is known in the surf world), is an American professional and iconic surfer from New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He’s done just about everything an East Coast pro surfer could ever accomplish short of the WCT (World Championship Tour): Ariel maneuver extraordinaire, X Games Gold Medalist (and MVP); Vans Airshow Champion; magazine exposure galore; and a couple dozen contest victories from South Florida to New Jersey to Southern California! He also invented the “Gorkin Flip,” a backside double grab inverted 360 air, the first legit flip ever landed! This 4x East Coast Surfing Champ will be surfing right beside you, ready to answer any questions. Gorkin will also go over specific aspects of your surfing, fine tuning both timing and maneuvers.
