After-School Ocean Adventure Program

Welcome to our newest program… an “after-school” ocean adventure camp.  This week-long program is for middle school-aged participants who are interested in the ocean and all the activities it offers.   This program is perfect for the active outdoor enthusiast, and for parents that want to limit the afternoon screen time.

Participants will enjoy surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and boogie boarding in the beautiful, warm late summer/fall ocean water.    Our experienced counselors start the first hour of each day with a fitness training session to get our participants warmed up for their activity of the day!

AFTER-SCHOOL OPTIONS:

• 5-day program (Monday – Friday)
• 3-day program (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
• 2-day program (Tuesday & Thursday)

 *Please note that our 2 and 3 day options will not include all ocean activities.  Activities are planned daily; there is no guarantee on what activities will take place on the shortened week. To pick the 2 or 3 day option, please click the Enroll button on your desired week*

Since water activities are physically taxing, we require that campers be able to swim 50 meters unassisted and be comfortable in the water where they cannot touch the ground.  No surfing experience necessary.

• 3:1 Student to instructor ratio
• Free before program Pick-Up from Wrightsville Beach and Landfall (Pick up will be from 2:30-3:00 PM)
• Return campers from our 2022 season do not need to fill out any new paperwork

*Above activities will be dependent on the weather and the conditions.  Not all activities are guaranteed and more than one session of each may be done.  Rainy day activities will be held in our Ogden office location*

Our after-school program runs from 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM.  Check-in runs from 3:00 – 3:15 PM.  Participants are to be dropped off and picked up at SurfBerry in Wrightsville Beach.

Tuition includes American Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid certified counselor instruction, daily fitness sessions, daily transportation to all activities, and SurfBerry treats.  A minimum of 6 participants are required to run our After-School Ocean Adventure.
