Day Camp Surf Instructor

Henry King

Henry is a Wrightsville Beach native who has been surfing for 12 years. Growing up by the ocean, he spent much of his childhood in the water—whether it was surfing, fishing, or just enjoying the beach lifestyle. His love for surfing started at a young age and has only grown stronger over the years.

Currently, he is a student at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he is majoring in Business with a focus on pharmaceutical sales and marketing. Outside of school, he enjoys staying active through the club Men’s Lacrosse Team and loves to travel whenever he can!

This will be Henry’s second summer with WB Surf Camp, and he is stoked to be back! Last summer, he had an amazing experience working Day Camp with campers and sharing his love for surfing. He can’t wait to return this season and help campers build their confidence in the water while having an unforgettable summer.
