Nick gets along extremely well with children, and has worked with them in several capacities over the years—as an afterschool program volunteer, an assistant little league baseball coach, and a daycare assistant. He takes great pride in being on time and dependable, and when he starts something he doesn’t stop until the job is done, and done correctly. In addition to working with kids, Nick’s passions include writing, film, photography, painting, and playing music. He graduated from UNC-Wilmington in May of 2008 with a B.A. in English, concentrated in Creative Writing.

Nick cares deeply for the ocean. The sand is his work out spot, the water his therapist, punching bag, and old friend. He enjoys teaching others there is no need to fear the water, especially little ones who might be approaching the ocean for the first time. Through Nick’s patience and compassion, he is able to connect with young kids and not only become a mentor or coach, but also a friend.
