Wrightsville Beach Surf Camp takes place on the pristine beaches of Southeastern North Carolina. Money magazine has named the southern end of the North Carolina Coast one of the top 12 vacation spots in North America. This area, know as the "Cape Fear Coast" is considered the Hollywood of the East and home to the hit WB show Dawson's Creek. With average summertime water temps in the low 80's, wetsuits are not needed and average small lazy summertime waves are perfect for beginner surfers.

Explore and surf 4 different barrier islands, go surf fishing, learn about sea turtles and how to rehabilitate them! Enjoy a pontoon boat ride to an undeveloped barrier island. Explore the brand new 84,000 square-foot Fort Fisher Aquarium. We cater to the absolute beginner, and our staff of professional instructors will take you to the next level. Surf Camp is all about having family fun and being fully immersed in this incredible sport.

Participants are between the ages 8 and up. This program is designed for families who want to experience a unique and exciting adventure while learning how to surf, and exploring amazing costal ecosystems. Families are enthusiastically encouraged to develop a passion and bonding that will build confidence to last a lifetime. “A family that surfs together stays together.” $595/per participant, housing not included but will be arranged.
